Harlem Restaurant (67 Richmond St. East) is a spot that’s been on my must-eat list for awhile. It’s visited by many of my music friends, which is no coincidence since the founders include artist Carl Cassell and famed Toronto DJ, Carl Allen. So who better to dine with than another great DJ, The Real Frequency’s Musiklee Inzane. Inspired by the NY neighbourhood’s renaissance of the 1920’s, the cuisine of Toronto’s Harlem covers Carribbean and soul food.

How does one DJ dig another DJ’s restaurant? Read on for our reviews.

While it’s nice to have variety on a menu, sometimes I welcome limited choice, which is why I’m a fan of Prix Fixe. Of course, it has to be at a good restaurant and preferably not during one of those ‘licious events. A perfect example of one I enjoy is Pizza Libretto (221 Ossington Ave.) and their great three-course fixed-price lunch menu that’s only $15.

Read on to find out exactly what you can get in the three courses.
